🔧 Bug Fix: Speakers Now Save Correctly in Workshops & Activities!
Hey there, event pros! 👋
We know how important it is to keep your speaker lineups perfectly organized, so we wanted to let you know about a fix we just shipped.
We squashed a pesky bug that was preventing speakers from being saved correctly in the Workshops & Activities module. Whether you're building out breakout sessions, planning interactive workshops, or scheduling keynote activities, your speaker information will now save smoothly every time. ✨
No action needed on your end—just keep creating amazing events! If you run into any issues, our support team is always here to help.
Happy planning! 🎤📋
🛠️ Improved QR Code Scanning in the On-Site App
We’ve fixed an issue that could prevent the On-Site app from reading QR codes that were too small 📱🔍. To solve this, we upgraded the QR scanning library on both iOS and Android ✅.
This means faster, more reliable scanning—even with smaller QR codes—so check-in stays smooth and stress-free 🚀✨
🛠️ Screen Sharing Fix in Eventtia Studio (Virtual Events)
We’ve fixed an issue in Eventtia Studio that, in certain cases, was preventing hosts and speakers from sharing their screen during virtual events 🖥️😅.
This has now been resolved ✅, so you can present, demo, and collaborate smoothly without interruptions. Happy streaming! 🎬✨
🧩 Temporary Change: Delete Button for Slotted Activities
To reduce confusion while managing activities with slots, we’ve temporarily removed the main Delete button for these activities 🛠️. In some cases, the previous behavior wasn’t clear enough and could lead to uncertainty about what would be deleted.
This is a short-term fix to keep things safer and more predictable ✅ while we work on a better, clearer design for deleting slotted activities ✨. Thanks for your patience—we’ll share an update as soon as the improved experience is ready 🙌
🛠️ Post-Workshop Email Sending Fix
We’ve fixed an issue affecting the post-workshop email ✉️. In some very specific scenarios, the email wasn’t being sent correctly, which could cause participants to miss important follow-up information 😅.
This has now been resolved ✅, and post-workshop emails should be delivered reliably moving forward. Thanks for your patience! 🙌
📅 Calendar Widget Decommissioning Notice
We’re decommissioning the Calendar Widget that allowed you to embed a calendar on event pages to list all events. 🧩
This means the widget will no longer be available to add to pages, and existing calendar embeds will stop displaying events once the decommissioning is completed.
We’re making this change to simplify the page experience and focus development on newer, more flexible ways to showcase events ✨. If you currently rely on the widget, we recommend updating your event pages with alternative content (for example: direct links to selected events, a curated agenda section, or a custom event listing block) so visitors can still discover your events easily 🔎.
Thanks for your understanding—and as always, we’re here to help if you need guidance updating your pages 🙌
🛠️ SSO Login Crash Fix on On-Site App
We fixed a bug that could cause the On-Site app to crash when logging in using SSO 🔐. This issue is now resolved ✅, so you can sign in smoothly and keep check-ins running without interruptions 🚀.
🛠️ Redirect Issue Fix
We fixed a bug that, under very specific circumstances, could unexpectedly redirect users to the Eventtia login screen 😅.
This has now been resolved ✅, so your navigation should stay smooth and uninterrupted while using the platform.
💸 Discount Coupons Import Fix
We’ve resolved an issue that was causing a 504 error when importing a large number of discount coupons 📥. This error sometimes interrupted the process and made bulk imports difficult. Now, the process works smoothly ✅, allowing you to import all your coupons without any errors. Bulk management of discounts is faster and more reliable than ever! 🚀
🛠️ Attendees Import Fix
We’ve fixed an issue in the attendees import process 🎉. Previously, when names contained unusual or “weird” characters, the import could fail and stop the process. Now this has been resolved ✅.
You can import attendees seamlessly, no matter the characters in their names. Smooth and reliable importing is back on track! 🚀
🎟️ Wallet Pass Display Fix
We’ve fixed an issue affecting wallet passes on iOS and Android 📱. Previously, some text was overflowing and not displaying properly, making the passes harder to read. Now everything fits perfectly within the design, ensuring a clean and professional look ✨. Your attendees will enjoy a smoother experience when adding their passes to their wallets! 🎉
We’ve fixed an important issue in the On-Site App! 🎉
Previously, when downloading participants’ information, the app could freeze once it reached 100%. This problem has now been fully resolved ✅. You can now download participant info smoothly without interruptions. Thanks for your patience and happy event managing! 🎊

We fixed some display quirks on the registration success screen for mobile devices. Everything now looks clean and beautiful — just like your events! 🎉
Badge Printing Just Got Smoother! 🖨️🎟️
We’ve fixed a bug that caused errors when printing large numbers of attendee badges with very large images. To prevent this from happening again, Eventtia will now generate PDF files in batches of 200 badges and automatically zip them into one file for easy download. Everything should now work faster, cleaner, and more reliably! 🚀📁
Fix Alert: Attendees View Now Accurate! 🎉
We’ve fixed a small bug where, after accepting or rejecting an attendee, the event view incorrectly showed no more participants. That’s all sorted now — your attendee list stays visible and accurate! ✅

🔍 Product Update: Case-Insensitive Search for Event Activities
Searching event activities just got easier! We’ve fixed an issue where the search was case sensitive — meaning searching for “Workshop” and “workshop” gave different results.
Now, your search will work regardless of capitalization. ✅

To enjoy the optimized version, simply refresh your web browser.
Thank you for your patience and feedback.
The Help widget can now be moved across the screen
On your Eventtia's back-office dashboard, the 'Help' widget was occasionally blocking some elements on the screen, making it difficult to interact with certain parts of Eventtia’s interface.
Good news! ? We’ve rolled out a fix that lets you move the widget freely across the screen, so it never gets in your way again.
To reposition it, simply click and drag the icon (shown in the image below) to your preferred spot.

Connect multiple Zoom accounts for activities in the Virtual Stage
To give you more freedom with how you organize Zoom activities on the Virtual Stage, it is now possible to configure activities with a different Zoom account that is not linked to the organizer for each transmission. This is in addition to the account that you already have connected by default in integrations.
General platform fixes
Mitigating bugs and managing continuous improvements is necessary to ensure the best experience for event organisers and their participants. Some of the fixes we made include:
- The location now appears in workshop details when clicking on an activity in the program.
- The view of inactive events pages has been adjusted for when the virtual stage is not configured from the back office.
- Custom registration fields can now be displayed under attendee profiles in the virtual stage.
Chats: Notification Badge Fix
So that the names of your participants can be seen correctly when they receive a chat, we have corrected the notification settings.
Before, when a participant received a notification, the name was cut depending on the characters. For this reason, we have added an endpoint to our API so that it is possible to obtain the statistics of sponsor activities.
With this fix, names will now be displayed correctly without separating the characters.
This fix also applies for activities' chat notifications, which are now displays correctly regardless the length of the name.
Bug Fixes
For event organizers and their participants to have the best experience, we understand that it is necessary to minimize errors. Some of the bug fixes we made include:
- Show bios of Speakers correctly. Previously when these were too long, they were displayed from the end. From now on the biography will be shown from the beginning and the participant can scroll down to read it completely.
- Show images correctly once they are updated by participants. Previously, they were not shown in the list of participants, but the change was shown in the participant's profile image on the chat.
- Fixed the position of reactions to match the Sponsors reel.
- The size of Speaker images changed when their profiles were opened. We have corrected this error so that the images are displayed correctly.
