Eventtia Changelog
Eventtia first version release notes
Improved Live Streaming Reliability
Live streaming features now work correctly across all environments, thanks to a fix in cache control handling that was previously causing issues with live content delivery.
If you previously experienced problems with live streams not loading or displaying stale content, this fix ensures that your live event content is delivered reliably and in real time to all viewers.
Session Webhooks for Real-Time Integrations
Eventtia now fires webhooks for session-related events, allowing your external systems to stay in sync whenever sessions are created, updated, or modified. ๐
If you rely on third-party tools for scheduling, notifications, or analytics, session webhooks eliminate the need for manual data syncing โ your integrations update automatically in real time.
- New webhook payloads include detailed session data via a dedicated session serializer
- Webhook sync status tracking on sessions so you always know the delivery state
- Workshop definition serializer updates ensure complete and accurate data in webhook payloads
๐ฝ Enhanced Event Import Experience
The event import workflow has been significantly improved, giving you a clearer summary view and a more reliable process when bulk-importing event data.
Importing events in bulk is a common need for organizations managing large event portfolios. The updated import flow now includes a detailed summary page so you can review what's being imported before committing, reducing the risk of errors and giving you more confidence in the process.
This means fewer surprises after an import and less time spent manually correcting data issues. ๐
Redesigned Merchandise Report for Faster Insights
The Merchandise (Purchase Items) report has been completely redesigned with a fresh, modern interface โ making it easier than ever to review and analyze your event's merchandise sales and purchase data.
Whether you're tracking sold items, filtering by keyword, or exporting data to Excel, the updated report delivers a cleaner experience that helps you find the information you need without the clutter. This means less time wrestling with reports and more time acting on the data that matters.
- โจ Fully redesigned report UI with a modern look and feel, consistent with the latest Eventtia design standards
- ๐ Fixed keyword search so filtering purchase items works reliably and returns accurate results
- ๐ Corrected the quantity column display to ensure merchandise quantities are reported accurately
- ๐ค Improved Excel export process for merchandise data, delivering more reliable and complete downloads
These improvements apply to the Purchase Items report found under your event's Registration Reports section. No action is needed on your end โ the new design is live automatically.
Session Logout Now Works Reliably
We fixed an issue where logging out did not properly delete the session token, which could cause unexpected behavior such as stale sessions or errors when trying to sign back in.๐
Calendar Invites Now Show the Correct Event Location
We fixed an issue where the ICS calendar file generated for attendees wasn't correctly displaying the event location. Now, when attendees add your event to their calendar, the location field will be properly populated.
๐ This means your attendees will no longer have to dig through emails or event pages to find where they need to be โ the location shows up right in their calendar app, reducing confusion and last-minute questions.
- Fixed the location field in ICS calendar exports so it correctly reflects the event's configured location
- Updated the ICS event description to provide more accurate and relevant event details
Workshop Definitions Export Now Works Correctly
Exporting workshop definitions to Excel is now working as expected. A bug was preventing the export process from completing successfully, which could result in failed downloads or incomplete data.
๐ ๏ธ If you previously experienced issues when trying to export your workshop definitions, those are now resolved โ your exports will generate correctly and include all the expected information. This means you can reliably pull workshop data into spreadsheets for reporting, sharing with stakeholders, or offline planning.
Control who can export personally identifiable information (PII)
A new Export PII permission is now available in the roles and permissions settings, giving you granular control over who can export sensitive attendee data. This ensures that personally identifiable information โ such as names, emails, and other personal details โ can only be exported by authorized team members. ๐
This permission applies across all major export areas, so your data governance policies are consistently enforced:
- Attendee list exports
- Attendee field exports
- Registration reports
- Activity checkpoint exports
- Attendee event trace exports
- Attendee workshop exports
- Meeting exports
Existing roles that already have export rights have been automatically granted this new permission, so there's no disruption to your current workflows. You can revoke or adjust access at any time from the permissions settings.

Smoother registration experience with improved form dropdowns
Dropdown fields in registration forms now support inline search. Attendees can start typing to quickly filter and find the value they need instead of scrolling through long lists.
This is especially useful for fields with many options โ like countries, companies, or job titles โ where finding the right value used to mean scrolling through dozens (or hundreds) of entries. Now it's just a few keystrokes.
Why it matters: Faster form completion means fewer abandoned registrations and a smoother experience for your attendees. Every second saved at the registration step adds up, particularly for high-volume events.

More reliable workshop display in the Program module
We've resolved issues affecting how workshops are displayed and filtered within the Program module, including on the Virtual Stage.
- Fixed an issue where inactive registered attendee types could cause incorrect workshop query results, ensuring the correct sessions are shown to participants.
- Resolved a highlighting condition that could cause certain workshops to appear incorrectly emphasized in the program view.
These fixes ensure that your event program accurately reflects the correct sessions and their statuses for all attendees. ๐ฏ
โกโก Faster loading times for networking meeting schedules
We've optimized the way conference meeting data is retrieved, resulting in noticeably faster load times when browsing meeting schedules. โก
Events with a large number of meetings should now render more quickly, especially when filtering or navigating through agenda views. This improvement focuses on behind-the-scenes database optimizations that reduce query times for business conference meetings.
Faster and more detailed B2B meeting agenda printing
Printing your B2B meeting agendas is now significantly faster and more informative. We've overhauled the agenda printing process to handle large volumes of data more efficiently and added useful attendee details directly into the printed output.

Batch Resend Welcome Emails to Attendees
You can now resend welcome emails to multiple attendees at once! ๐ Instead of sending welcome emails one by one, event organizers can select a batch of attendees and trigger a mass resend directly from the attendees list.
This feature includes a real-time progress modal so you can track the status of the email delivery as it happens, giving you full visibility into the process.
- Select multiple attendees and resend welcome emails in bulk
- Real-time progress bar tracks email sending status
- Available in English, Spanish, and German localizations

Speaker Information Now Included in Activity Excel Reports
The activity (workshop) Excel export report has been enhanced to include speaker information. ๐ค When you export your activities to Excel, you'll now see speaker details alongside the existing activity data, giving you a more complete overview of your event's sessions.
This improvement makes it easier to manage and review your event's agenda by having all relevant activity and speaker information consolidated in a single downloadable report.
Fixed welcome emails displaying raw HTML code
We resolved an issue where welcome emails with calendar invitations (.ICS files) were displaying raw HTML source code instead of the properly formatted email content. This was particularly noticeable in Outlook and other email clients. ๐ง
The root cause was related to how the email's MIME structure was being built when attaching calendar files. The email body was being inadvertently converted from HTML to plain text, causing recipients to see unreadable markup instead of the intended styled message.
- Welcome emails with calendar attachments now render correctly across all email clients
- Fixed compatibility issues specifically affecting Outlook users
- Calendar invitation (.ICS) attachments continue to work as expected alongside properly formatted HTML content

We resolved a bug that caused the total number of registered workshops to display incorrectly for attendees. ๐ ๏ธ The workshop registration count now accurately reflects the actual number of workshops each attendee has signed up for, ensuring reliable data across your event management dashboard.
Remove attendees from workshop sessions directly from the list
You can now remove attendees directly from the workshop session attendees list! ๐ This new feature streamlines workshop management by allowing organizers to quickly unassign participants without navigating away from the attendees view.
Previously, managing attendee assignments for workshop sessions required additional steps. With this update, a remove action is available right within the attendees list, making it faster and more intuitive to manage your workshop rosters.
- New remove button available on each attendee entry in the workshop session attendees list
- Multi-language support included โ the feature is available across all supported languages
