Eventtia Changelog
Eventtia first version release notes
Welcome Email: QR Code
Every day we are migrating back to face-to-face interactions, and events are not far behind. Many of our clients are already holding hybrid events, where they can host face-to-face and virtual audiences.
So you keep better management of your attendees, now if the event is only in person, the welcome email will include its QR code to be able to check-in. If it is virtual, the welcome email will not include the QR code.
Activities: Multiple Streaming Channels
Virtuality has allowed us to connect our events with participants from all over the world. In order to make your experiences more user-friendly within the Virtual Stage, it is now possible to enable multiple streaming channels on the same activity. This will allow having streamings in different languages on the same activity, allowing participants to access more easily.
The steps you must follow to enable this feature are:
- Create the activity.
- In the tab "Virtual Stage Configuration" choose the option "Youtube" or "Other".
- In the "Add" button, add the number of streamings you want (Up to 5) and name them to your preference.
Invoices: Payment Date
In order for you to give more detailed information to your participants on their invoices, we have included the payment date.
This will allow you to know exactly when the participant made their payment, this way being able to keep better traceability of your event.
Registration Form: New Birthdate Field
In order to facilitate the completion of your participants' registration forms, we have changed the format of the "Birthdate" field. With the new dropdown presentation, the client will be able to fill out their information more quickly.
Virtual Stage: Zoom Upgrades
Understanding our clients' needs and keeping up with the improvements of our collaborators, we have updated the Virtual Stage to integrate the upgrades of Zoom web SDK version 1.8.0.
Functionalities that were previously limited like the breakout rooms are now available within the Virtual Stage. This will allow you to divide your participants into small groups to perform different types of activities without having to access another page.
Virtual Stage: Chat Channels
Now your participants will be able to send messages on different chat channels for different purposes. This improvement to the chat module will allow participants to use each chat for its specific purpose hence, not disturbing activities by discussing unrelated topics. For example, you can enable a support channel and there all participants can request help.
To enable these channels you just have to go to "Virtual Stage Settings" and once in there go to the "Modules" tab. Finally in the "Chat" option, you can set up the channels as you see fit.
Virtual Stage: Received Chats Retention
For your participants not to miss any content that has been discussed in the chats, now they are not deleted. Let's say that you had to log out from the Virtual Stage or simply logged in late for an activity, now you can review what was being discussed prior to your entry to the platform.
Networking: Background Images
We understand the need of our clients to customize their participants' experience when setting up networking meetings. With this in mind, you can now insert a background image to give your networking sessions more identity within the Virtual Stage.
You just have to go to the "User interface" tab and in the option "Background image for networking session" insert the one you would like.
Workshops and Networking Meeting: Waiting Image
Now you can provide a better experience to your participants while they wait for activities or networking meetings to start. With our new "Waiting image" feature you will be able to brand your sponsors, the speakers or simply set up a nice image for your participants and make their wait on the Virtual Stage more pleasant.
For this you'll only need to go to the "User interface" tab and in the "Waiting image" option, insert the one you want.
Event Commander: Live Announcements
Now you can send live messages to your participants to inform them about changes in the agenda or simply communicate an announcement regarding the activity that is happening. This new feature of the Event Commander will allow participants to receive information without leaving the Virtual Stage.
